Vollick McKee master planned the proposed 80-acre Ravine Technology Park that includes the 80,000 sf, state of the art x-wave building in suburban Halifax, NS. Work included:
Providing a detailed grading strategy, a layout plan and planting plans for the business park.
Dramatically siting the x-wave building on a rocky outcrop in order to provide a prominent corporate visual presence and minimize the need for excavation of the site’s rocky terrain.
Site designing a 400-space parking lot, recreational hiking and biking trails through the surrounding woods, an employee terrace, service areas, and naturalized landscaping.
Site designing to accommodate a phased construction schedule involving multiple buildings and a gradual expansion of landscaped areas.
