Vollick McKee's Role:
Vollick McKee provided site planning and design to integrate a 160,000 square foot arena complex into the existing University of Prince Edward Island campus. Work included:
Relocated parking and pedestrian access so that the campus would remain operational during construction;
Detailed design and grading of entry driveways, ring road and parking facilities for public and service vehicles;
Detailed site design and grading of pedestrian access routes and amenities including walkways, plazas and other exterior facilities including layout of site furnishings.
Vollick McKee performed similar services to those noted above on the Port Hawksbury Civic Centre, Port Hawksbury, NS (2004)
