Vollick McKee master planned site and site designed this military complex with command, training, and heavy equipment storage facilities from initial concept to project completion. Work included:
Sensitively siting the complex next to residential neighbourhood and public park by means of earthworks and significant vegetative buffering.
Responding to the site’s rich local military history through an interpretive center with harbour view.
Providing designs for grading and surface drainage, driveway and parking areas, pedestrian access, outdoor recreation features, and site landscaping.
Providing detailed working drawings and technical specifications as well as site review and inspection services.
Working in multidisciplinary team with architects, engineers and other design disciplines throughout the course of the project.
